Advanced notice of proposed changes to the Pickleball Victoria Constitution

In response to increasing demands on the board of Pickleball Victoria, driven in part by the significant growth in membership, the board is proposing the following TWO amendments to the constitution to ensure the organisation remains well positioned for the future. These proposed changes are provided for members to review, consider and ultimately vote on.

Motion Part 4 37 (2) of the PV constitution to be amended to the following:

The quorum for a General Meeting is the presence (physically, by proxy or as allowed under rule 36) of 25 members entitled to vote.

Motion Part 5 Committee 56 Terms of Office to be amended to the following:

An elected committee member holds office for a period of 2 years.

President/Secretary/General Committee Member x 3 

one year and the following in the alternate year

Vice President / Treasurer/ General Committee Member x 2
